Camping Chic

I am a city girl at heart so camping is not something that comes natural to me!!! But I love adventure so when I found out my friends wanted to go Camping I jumped at the opportunity to go along. Being the city girl that I am, one of the first thoughts that popped into my head was… OMG!!! What am I going to wear!!!

I figured that just because I am going camping that doesn’t mean that I can’t look cute and comfy while doing so!!! Wearing plaid is such a traditional staple in one’s camping wardrobe, but this plaid shirt that I wore was unique, it had a spilt in the back for extra detail and style, also it helped to keep me cool!!! I paired it with a cami in case I got too warm in the day, I could just take the plaid shirt off and it doubled for added warmth in the evening. I decided on wearing a skort (shorts & a skirt fused together) for the best of both worlds. I love to wear denim skirts, but with all the activities that I had to do on my trip I also wanted to wear pants to avoid thigh friction (if you know what I mean!!!) and this skort fit the bill!!! Not only was it stylish, it was comfortable, cool and very versatile, I interchanged this piece multiple times throughout my trip with different tops. For my jewelry I kept it minimal and wore these darling camping inspired S’more earrings that I just fell in love with!!! For footwear I throw on an old pair of converse and there you have it Camping Chic!!!
