Fall is officially here, time for pumpkin spiced everything,
slowly layering up and getting cozy. For me autumn means going back to
routine!!! Trying to balance full time work, school, family and a social life
can be challenging but that doesn’t mean that I am going to let my sense of
style suffer. As the days get cooler I find myself looking for outfits that are
comfortable, stylish and will last me throughout the day and night…
I thought this top was
absolutely gorgeous for fall, it is a beautiful Mustard Yellow with floral
print,
both on trend this
season. I paired it with a button front corduroy skirt which added a little
70’s vibe to the look. To finish I wore booties and a small cross body bag.
This look would be perfect for work or play.

Corduroy A-Line Mini Skirt: Torrid, Size: 28
(This skirt ran small
and has no stretch, I would suggest sizing up a size or 2)
(This bag is the perfect size to carry
just what you need and the strap is long enough to comfortably fit around my
plus size figure)
This Off the Shoulder top was so much fun to wear, you can pull it down
or up depending on how much of your shoulders you want to bear. I matched this
top with some jeggings from the Ashley Nell Tipton Collection over at JCPenney
and I must say that I love, love, love these Jeggings!!! They are so soft and
comfortable, but have the real feel and look of denim, also they are slashed at
the knee which add a bit of edge. This look went perfectly with a studded bucket
bag and some wedge boots.
Slashed Knee Jeggings: JCPenney, Size 24W, Color: Indigo
(These jeggings ran
on the large side, so I sized down)
Studded Bucket Bag:

The color of this dress is so rich and warm, just looking at it makes me
think of fall. This is a shift dress and it is very flowy. I usually prefer to
wear dresses that are more form fitting but I stepped out of my comfort zone
because I could not resist the lace up detail. This piece is also from the
Ashley Nell Tipton Collection as well, I completed the look with a hat, Moto
jacket and booties!!!
Lace-Up Dress: JCPenney, Size 3X
(This dress ran large, you may want to size
down)
Moto Jacket: Ava & Viv, Target, Size 4X
Hat: Torrid (Past Season) (similar style:
Torrid)
